Nathalie Nathalie 2 Masiela Masiela 2Nathalie Emmanuel, an English actress is best known for playing Missandei on the HBO Fantasy show Game of Thrones (2011-2015) as well as Ramsey in the movie Furious 7 (2015). Nathalie was born in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England and was the daughter of a father who is of Saint Lucian and English descent, and a mother with Dominican origin. Nathalie credits her mother for the inspiration for her to pursue a career as an actor. The role she played was Young Nala in her role in the West End Production of The Lion King at the age of aged 10. In 2006, she got her television break by starring as Sasha Valentine in the teen soap-opera Hollyoaks (1995). Emmanuel played the role up to 2010, when her character's story-lines included prostitution, and heroin addiction. Nathalie appeared on BBC Three's web-sex What's the harm investigation into the internet sexual behavior of the 16-24-year-olds people in the UK. Her debut came as an actor in the film crime thriller Twenty8 later that year. Later that year, she was cast as Missandei Daenerys Targaryen's translator on HBO's fantasy drama series Game of Thrones (2011). The year 2015 saw Emmanuel was promoted to the role of a regular actor on the show. In 2015, she was a part-time actress as the computer hacker Ramsey and Harriet respectively in Furious 7: The Scorch Trials (2015 action movie) as well as Maze Runner - The Scorch Trials (2015 Sci-fi movie). FHM magazine ranked Emmanuel as a 99th place in their Top 100 Sexiest Females of 2013. In April 2015, Emmanuel was featured in InStyle magazine as well as GQ.
