She is the older sister of fellow UFC fighter and ex- UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko is who is a Muay Thai boxer started her professional fight career during the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko took the title with a unanimous victory over Suzane Miller. Antonina later won a Silver Medal in 2007, a bronze Medal in 2008, and a gold medal in the year 2011, and in the IFMA Amateure 2016 Muay Tha World Champion. Antonina's striking skills were superior and let her TKO Nievera via knees in the back of her. Following this victory, Antonina received a UFC deal. Antonina was able to make her UFC debut during the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modeafferi in a unanimous decision. However, she then lost her subsequent bout due to the split decision. Antonina was able to bounce back from the defeat by beating Lucie Pudilova at UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler by a rear-naked choke submission. This earned her the bonus of a fight-of-the night. Shevchenko went 2-2 in her subsequent three bouts. She defeated Ariane Lipski but lost to Katlyn Chokagian as well as Andrea Lee. Antonina is currently being knocked out by Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
